The following are the points that go with this site.

This is a bilingual website. The primary version is Bengali. The secondary version (English) available at englishisimportants.com/en. This site is built with WordPress, but with zero third-party plugins. No public themes. Fully hand-coded, built from scratch.

No unnecessary code is injected into the website. Clean code, thus the site is lightweight and totally issue free. All the code is W3C validated. We just used WordPress as a CMS, but no other plugins. Hence, the site owner will have peace of mind when updating the content of the site from a clean WordPress dashboard as the following image shows.

The site is simple, content focused. No unnecessary stuff. Only the things that are important for visitors are there. That way visitors are consuming what our message to them is, not being stressed and distracted with loads of unnecessary stuff.

The site is thoroughly tested with screen reader for visually impaired users, so they won’t face any issues using the website. 90% of the people who are building websites fail here. So, a certain amount of content doesn’t make any sense to such users.

Theme: This is a teaching website, meaning a website for an English teaching brand, ‘English Is Importants’ in a certain rural area of Bangladesh. The rural Bangladesh is the color, Green. So, the background of the website is green. By learning an international communication language, we are enlightening ourselves. Light means white in color. Hence, the white text on green Background.

Logo: The logo is also created by SH Web Solution. A simple vector expressing both the letters ‘e’ and ‘i’. These types of minimal logos are suitable for use anywhere, including as a favicon.

Homepage: Just text. Why and How.

Vocabulary Page: More than 300 words (English to Bengali) with natural pronunciations using Microsoft Azure TTS service. On each page 10 words only. Challenge is 10 words per day. By the end of a month, students will learn 300 words which is a nice little supplement for consuming the classes on the Video Classes page. None of the words here are from AI; they are written by a human.

Video Classes Page: Here we have all the classes available pulled from the YouTube channel of English Is Importants. One video per page with Next and Previous buttons. Underneath, we have all the video classes by their serial numbers so students can shuffle through if they want to.

Resources Page: Here we have all the resources important for students in their English learning journey.

FAQs Page: Answers to the common questions a student might have.

This site is through Cloudflare for speed and extra protection.
